Canada lettuce prices spike, being pulled of menus

A shortage of lettuce is causing a spike in prices in Canada. This is causing some restaurants to withdraw it from their menus.

Iceberg and romaine lettuce are in shortage with prices expected to be elevated for the rest of the month.  The heat and drought contributed to lower production in California. Fast food chains have also notified customers letters are temporarily unavailable.
