The Resilient Harvests Conference was held in Long Beach, California, this week, and it's time to look back at what happened, who was there, and so on.
As for the panels, it might have been because of the combination of greenhouse growers and specialists, medical cannabis growers, and vertical farmers, but sometimes panelists went at it. This resulted in some feisty discussions leading to interesting questions rounds.
Not to put the panels in a negative light, quite the opposite. For new industries with significant overlaps in technology and technique, it's not a case of reinventing the wheel. In various conversations, speakers were rather welcoming to the horticulture 'experts' who shared their opinions on how to resolve certain hurdles for vertical farming or greenhouse farming and vice versa. This definitely created some informative and surprising panels.

On the exhibitor floor, there were various responses to the event, and overall there were more suppliers present at the event. Though, given the numerous events that have taken place this month, some might have had difficulties in prioritizing which events to attend.
Endeavor Business Media is said to have already made plans for the next edition, of which the program will be available prior to the event.
