The Ministry of Municipality, represented by the Department of Agricultural Affairs, yesterday inaugurated this season of the local agricultural product yards at Al Mazrouah, Al Wakra, Al Khor-Al Thakhira, Al Shamal, and Al Sheehaniya.
A statement said the yards at Al Mazrouah, Al Khor-Al Thakhira, and Al Wakra will work throughout the week, while the yards at Al Sheehaniya and Al Shamal will be open on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Ahmed al-Yafei, head of the Guidance and Services Department, Agricultural Affairs, said this season’s opening comes in continuation of the previous successful seasons, aiming to support Qatari farmers and local products.
