i-Plant Nutrition announces software update

YB AgTech's cloud-based precision plant nutrition recipe division, i-Plant Nutrition, has announced new updates to their software. These updates allow i-Plant Nutrition to not only be more dynamic in terms of its offering by allowing collaboration and new service integration but also to do recipe calculations at a fraction of the time. This was done by rebuilding the software with the most up-to-date programming language and a new framework by Microsoft. In i-PNUK V3, you will now find new features such as our new NPK package and satellite integration, among others. We are also now capable of partnering with various irrigation technology offerings. This new software version, carried out by Yellow Brick Capital's in-house technology company, YB Technology, enables a more reliable service for all customers and users.

Improvements to the software include integration with our YB AgTech Ecosystem Core. This technology was developed for all YB AgTech software and hardware solutions and will contain all information about fields, crops, nutrients, harvest, and other data to make recommendations to users. i-Plant Nutrition now has better security and performance and the fastest database technology commercially available on the market, as well as several other improvements and updates.

Since it first launched in 2014, i-Plant Nutrition (formerly Smart Fertilizer) has amassed thousands of users worldwide. Clients around the world benefit from reduced risk and precision fertilizer recipes, allowing increased yields and sustainable farming practices through accurate and, in several cases, lower fertilizer and pesticide use. For example, Exeter Produce Ltd, based in Ontario, Canada, revealed that by using the software system, they have been able to reduce pesticides by 25% while increasing yields of their crops (rutabagas and bell peppers) by 144% and 68% respectively. This is a direct comparison to production without the software.

i-Plant Nutrition offers customers access to precision, unbiased fertilizer recipes, now precision irrigation recommendations, coupled with various indices from our satellite integration, increasing both yields and overall profitability, lowering risk, and allowing data management of historical events to make more informed decisions going forward.

The i-Plant Nutrition software is also becoming more accessible to clients. Alongside web accessibility (which was available with Smart Fertilizer Software), i-Plant Nutrition can also be used on a mobile app for both Apple and Android devices. The API can be integrated directly into a business management platform for the client. What's more, i-Plant Nutrition offers white label services, giving clients a virtual copy of the i-Plant Nutrition software but with branding, logos, and products that represent the company's own capabilities and personality.

Johnathan Kol-Bar, CEO of i-Plant Nutrition, commented: "We are pleased to announce the new version of our i-Plant Nutrition software. The new and improved offering gives users new functionality which will allow an even more informed level of decision-making based on real-time data. All of this with a faster and more dynamic experience. The new software is one of many new updates we will be announcing for i-Plant Nutrition over the next few months, as we look to grow its offering globally."
