Turkey: Geothermal greenhouse installation planned in Kula

In cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the feasibility studies continue for the planned geothermal greenhouse in Kula, Turkey.

Within the scope of the “Technological Greenhouse Installation Project with Geothermal Energy” planned to be held in the Kula district of Manisa province, a technical visit was organized to the geothermal heated modern technological greenhouses in Sandikli, which is an investment of Koyuncu Group. As was previously reported, Koyuncu Group has announced that it has started production in its new investment, a 100-decare geothermal heated modern technological greenhouse located in Sandikli district of Afyonkarahisar province.

A few months ago, the delegation, which also included the General Manager of Development Agencies, Baris Yeniceri, District Governor Kemal Duru, Mayor Huseyin Tosun, and agency experts, examined the potential thermal water resources in the Emir Spas region and its surroundings.

The Zafer Development Agency prepared a pre-feasibility report on the effective use of resources in the field of geothermal-based technological greenhouse cultivation and thermal tourism in Kula.
