November 29 - December 3

Chinese companies to visit Dutch industry

In collaboration with the postal network in China, an online meeting will be organized on December 3 (from 9.00 to 10.30) with an interactive program about developments and trends in China. Part of this is an online connection with ambassador Wim Geerts and consul-general in Shanghai, Marjo Crompvoets. In addition, the King’s Commissioner, Jaap Smit, and deputy director, Commissioner of the King Jeannette Baljeu will discuss the developments in China and cooperation with Chinese parties online with Dutch companies.

Generating business opportunities in China during the Covid-19 pandemic is challenging. To bridge the gap between China and Zuid-Holland, the Province of Zuid-Holland will organize an online trade mission between the 29th of November and the 3rd of December together with co-organizers Hebei Foreign Affairs Office, Beijing Agriculture Bureau, Shijiazhuang, and Shanghai Bright Food.

Besides the relation with Hebei, the province of Zuid-Holland has developed new relations with other regions in China to facilitate the business projects, for example with Dezhou. For this reason, the scope of the online trade mission will be broader.

The primary program of the public events from the Online China Week from Zuid-Holland consists of several parts which have been listed here.
