Tomato breeders put new greenhouse into operation

This autumn, phase 1B of the GreenEx breeding site of BASF Vegetable Seeds in Nunhem went into operation. This is one hectare for tomato breeding. A video on LinkedIn shows the first crops growing.

The greenhouse, successor of a traditional greenhouse in Roggel, is equipped with technology for autonomous cultivation with which cultivation will be controlled in the screening and breeding greenhouses.
