Plant Empowerment publishes third edition of book

‘Plant Empowerment, The Basic Principles’ has sold more than 6,000 copies so far. Therefore, a third edition has now been published.

Third edition published
Plant Empowerment is a data-driven growing philosophy that aims to facilitate higher yields and better crop quality by focusing on plant balances. At the same time, resources such as water, energy, and nutrients are used more efficiently. In 2019, data specialist LetsGrow.com published the English book in partnership with the founders of the Plant Empowerment philosophy: Jan Voogt, Peter Geelen, and Peter van Weel.

More than 6,000 copies of ‘Plant Empowerment, The Basic Principles’ have been sold to date. Due to this success, a third edition of the book has now been published.

Childhood dream come true
Authors Jan Voogt and Peter van Weel describe it as a childhood dream come true: “At the start of the writing process, we locked ourselves up in a log cabin for two weeks to create the basis for this book together. We had hoped – but never dared to dream – that so many growers worldwide would be inspired to follow the principles of Plant Empowerment. We are delighted that growers are embracing the book and using the natural growing power of plants to cultivate crops more sustainably. After all, plants are naturally very efficient and resilient to pests and diseases. The Plant Empowerment philosophy makes use of these natural characteristics to optimize plant growth in high-tech greenhouses.” Click here to order your own copy of the book.
