Having been absent for a year due to the health crisis, the SIVAL is pleased to be able to welcome all of the members of the specialist plant production sector. Organized by Destination Angers, this 35th edition will be part of a post-crisis dynamic. Future trends and feedback from experiments will be featured in order to construct the future of specialist plant production together. Within this framework innovation will, more than ever, be a solution for adapting to the evolution of working practices and societal demands. New for 2022: Sival's digital amplifier
The SIVAL and its teams have made the most of their time away by developing SIVAL Online, the Show’s digital platform for assisting visitors and exhibitors. Making appointments with exhibitors, a detailed directory, highlighting key products for exhibitors, live sessions, and replays: a platform is a tool that will enhance the SIVAL and enable professionals to prepare and to gain even more from their visit.
Fruit 2050
In 2022, the SIVAL is co-organizing with VEGEPOLYS VALLEY, GIS FRUIT, and the CITFL, the third edition of the FRUIT 2050 Event. Dedicated to professionals in the European fruit production sector, this major event will tackle the major challenges facing fruit production in the future. Organized every two years since 2018, it features the VEGEPOLYS VALLEY - GIS FRUITS Symposium, for which the theme for 2022 will be "Can varietal choice reconcile environmental challenges and consumer expectations?", the CITFL Forum and a themed conference.
International
The VIBE Business convention (VEGEPOLYS International Business Event) will be organized with an audience present on Tuesday and Wednesday, and digitally on Friday. This latest edition of the convention will be concentrating on Europe.
Angers capital of plant production
Finally, the SIVAL will mark the start of a year that will be focusing on all the aspects of plant production: a world Congress with the International Horticultural Congress (IHC) from the 14th to 20th of August 2022, and enhancing and promoting plant production at the Salon du Végétal at the end of the year.
