Cravo Equipment Ltd has received "The Best Agri Implement Award 2021" from Agribusiness Summit and Agri Awards (ABSA 2021). ABSA is an annual feature organized by Ray Consulting Hyderabad. It honors the achievements and success stories of organizations and individuals actively involved in boosting economic growth in the Indian agriculture sector.
The award recognizes the progress made by commercial growers improving their quality and yields, especially during the challenging summer and monsoon conditions using Cravo's automatic retractable roof greenhouses, cooling houses, and field covering systems.
The award being accepted by Rajender Kumar, Business Development Manager, and Shashank Jain, Technical Support.
The education of Indian growers began in 2014 when Rajender joined Cravo as Business Development Manager. There are now over 162 acres or 65 hectares of retractable roof houses in India producing vegetables, berries, lettuce, herbs, medicinal and nutraceutical crops.
Cravo's intense focus on developing crop management protocols for the different crops and seasons combined with its intense focus on grower success has resulted in three of the largest investments in protected vegetable and berry production to have ever occurred in India with the DS Group, Simply Fresh, Triangle Farms each constructing large projects that are up to international standards.
