The "green turn" of the Italian company Fellini Patrizio does not stop. The year 2021 carries some surprises, the two managers Emile and Valentina Fellini announce. They will install a new plant to recycle water, install solar panels end expand their greenhouse acreage.
"Shortly we will start with the construction 20.000 square meters of greenhouses, near our facillity in Gambettola (Forlì-Cesena), close to the current farm "67". We want to produce local products even in the winter months. Besides, we will begin with testing the new greenhouses in 2021 to see which products work best. Our main focus is crop protection, in order to minimize the input of energy, fertilization, plant protection".

The new water recycling plant will also be activated. "Soon, we will be able to recycle up to 90% of the washing water of the plant, water that can then be reused since it is free of microbial loads and suspensions. Attention for the environment is one of our priorities and the new plant goes in this direction."
The photovoltaic system will also be enlarged, to reach the total power of 500 kwh. "We will also set up the columns to recharge cars, available to our employees."

The "Io Riciclo" cardboard packaging, made mostly from recycled raw materials, continues to be used. "By now we have all formats available to meet the needs of Italian and European big retail industry."
