Macpac is no stranger to selling online through its website. For over 4 years the Stockport–based thermoformer has sold its highly successful Plantpac range on a digital platform, which is now experiencing considerable momentum in an exploding digital market.

ith a rapidly growing e-commerce demand the manufacturer has widened its online presence, launching macpac online, a digital ‘shopping’ shelf offering on-demand stock packaging in box quantities across Bakery, General Food (fresh produce, soft fruit) and Horticulture (Plantpac). The new site will combine its range of personal protection visors for critical care and frontline personnel as well as a modified hard hat visor for construction workers.
A spokesperson for Macpac reported: "the new online site will operate alongside the existing main company website. We intend to broaden the platform going forward to cover other markets, where we have gained reputation over nearly 50 years."
From the first click through to check-out, Macpac has engineered the site for easy navigation and simple ordering. Macpac will continue to supply larger quantities for companies requiring bulk deliveries by pallets through contact with the main office.
