Webinar: Winners of the Urban Greenhouse Challenge'2

Wageningen University & Research in collaboration with ISHS and H2020 FoodE project would like to warmly invite you to the webinar Winners of the Urban Greenhouse Challenge’2: bringing urban farming to the next level in Dongguan, China. During this on-line event three talented student teams will present ambitious urban greenhouse concepts that brought them to the podium of this international student competition.

In October 2019, 53 teams from 79 universities in 29 countries entered the Urban Greenhouse Challenge. Their goal? To design an urban greenhouse for the city of Dongguan in China that integrates food production with outstanding architecture, convincing business model and social impact in one sustainable concept.

After 10 months of tense competition, two selection rounds and exciting Grand Finale on 27 August, Team Bagua (UAB), team KAS (WUR) and TeAMSpirit (AMS Insitute) were announced the winners of the Challenge. During the webinar they will tell their winning ideas and reveal secrets of their journey to the podium.
