Turkey: 3,000 hectares of greenhouse tomatoes are grown in Kumluca, Antalya

The growers in the Kumluca region of Antalya (Turkey) are preparing for the tomato production in 2020 – 2021 season. The growers have started planting 3,000 hectares of tomato production area in their greenhouses.

The greenhouses cover around 5,500 in the region with around 65% of it used for tomato production. The planting process will continue throughout October as well. The harvest is expected to start in November and continue until July in phases.
