webinar, August 27

Exploring the impact of light on tomato plants and yield

It's time for another Fluence research webinar, August 27 at 3 PM CEST, 8 AM CST. In this episode, Fluence experts from the Horticulture Service and Research teams will discuss two crucial experiments - conducted in collaboration with Wageningen University in the Netherlands - that improve our collective understanding of light and its impact on tomato production.

First, Dr. Dave Hawley will present the findings of the high-pressure sodium (HPS) and white light LED on two cultivars of tomatoes. Then, Dr. Haris Ouzounis will present the latest research on four different LED spectra treatments on two varieties.

The research will present data on the impact of plant development and yield under different spectra ranging from HPS to narrow-band and broad-band light. Learn how to choose the right light spectra to meet your tomato cultivation goals.

With the right supplemental lighting solution, growth cycles are not only more consistent but also faster. Register today to learn more.
