"Production is stable"

"Bird's eye chillis available in China in July"

“The Bird's eye chilli is native to Thailand. Its seeds were then introduced to China and many varieties were cultivated. This chilli is grown in most parts of China, including Guizhou, Jiangxi, and Hebei,” said Mr. Peng of Jiangxi Woshenghui Agricultural Development Co., Ltd.

"Our red bird's eye chillis are grown in Xinyu, Jiangxi. Our planting center covers an area of 60 mu and produces about 90 tons in total. Under normal weather conditions, the production season each year starts in July and ends around November. The production this season has been stable and not been affected by extreme weather conditions that have frequently occurred, and the quality is stable."

"This year, we will focus on bulk shipments, with wholesale being the main sales outlet. Pricing is affected by many factors in the market, so it is still difficult to make a conclusion. However, judging from the current situation, it is expected that the wholesale price this season will remain at around 6 yuan per half a kilo.”
