Multistate outbreak of E. coli linked to clover sprouts now declared over

On February 24th, 2020, Jimmy John's LLC reported that all of its restaurants stopped serving clover sprouts, which were linked to an outbreak of E. coli O103.

On March 16th, Chicago Indoor Garden recalled all products containing red clover sprouts, also due to possible contamination with E. coli O103.

Now, the CDC has reported that as off April 22nd, 2020, this outbreak appears to be over. In total, 51 people were infected with the outbreak strain of E. coli O103, spread over 10 states. Three people were hospitalized, though no deaths were reported.
