Packaging department will follow after technical reasons

Two poor yield seasons strangle Quality Queen Sales

There has been a rumor in the market for some time, but today the bankruptcy of Quality Queen Sales has been announced. According to curator Mathieu Souren, the cause of the bankruptcy is due to two hugely poor yield seasons of the peppers that had already been sold to the supermarkets in advance. "Those volumes were by no means met, which meant that additional purchases had to be made on the market, while prices were extremely high. That happened not once, but two years in a row and that could quickly be the end of it, because it concerns millions. It is a trade of its own, with thin margins "

According to the curator, there is also no prospect of a direct restart. "The business has been standing still for a few days and if you cannot deliver for a day, customers will end up with another supplier."

The seventeen employees of Quality Queen Sales have been dismissed by curator Mr. Souren. It is very likely that other parts of the company will be declared bankrupt in the short term. For example, the packaging department of Quality Queen has not yet been declared bankrupt, but according to the bankruptcy trustee this has only a technical reason.
