Video: Dutch greenhouse growing back in 1962

Have you got a spare 30 minutes? Then the following two videos about the Westland’s tomato cultivation back in 1962 are an excellent recommendation. Maybe you’re already familiar with them, but that doesn’t make them any less beautiful.

Over half a century ago, Leendert W. Koppenol filmed at Plant nursery Zeldenrust and tomato grower Niet Struijk in the Dutch town of De Lier, after which the tomato filled crates (who didn’t lug those around back in the day?) were shipped to the auction on the flat barge and were then transported.
