Spanish manufacturers eye Turkish market

Fifteen Spanish manufacturers of agricultural machinery and its components will attend the next edition of Growtech, which will be held in Antalya (Turkey) from the 27th to the 30th of November. The Spanish Exporters Association of Agricultural Machinery and its Components, Greenhouses and Crop Protection, Irrigation Systems, Livestock Equipment, Nutrition and Animal Health, Forestry Machinery, Biomass and Post-Harvesting Equipment (AGRAGEX) will go together with those companies.

“The main sectors of Growtech 2019 are greenhouses, irrigation systems, seed and fertilizers”, states AGRAGEX. “Growtech is an international exhibition focused on manufacturers and importers of horticulture material such as greenhouses and climate control equipment, irrigation systems, packaging machinery, phytosanitary products, seeds, fertilizers, crop protection and water treatment systems”.

The Spanish companies that will attend Growtech with the support of AGRAGEX are Antonio Tarazona, Atlántica Agrícola, Fertival, Comercial J. Huete, Plast-Téxtil, Novagric, Ulma Agrícola, RKD Irrigación, Mafa Bioscience, Azud, Daymsa, Rábita Agrotéxtil, Herogra Especiales, Hydroponic Systems y Fertium Máxima.

Azud, which develops technology and products for efficient use of water in irrigation, filtration and water treatment, is one of the Spanish companies that will participate in the exhibition. “We will show our efficient technologies solutions for the agricultural sector in Growtech 2019 due to the continuous support of Agragex”, they state. “We will keep this collaboration and be present in the Turkish market”.

Moreover, Fertium Máxima, a company specialized in the investigation, manufacturing and distribution of fertilizers, points out that their main aim in this show is “on one hand, to promote and give visibility to the latest progresses and solutions of the company, and, on the other hand, to meet with our Middle East partners."

For Fertium Máxima, “the Turkish market is a key market with a great potential. We have been working for a long time and we feel proud to be part of it”. Besides, “participating with Agragex in any event is a guarantee of success that gives us confidence and security” they conclude.

Similarly, Ulma Agrícola will attend Growtech 2019 with the aim of obtaining “a better knowledge of the Turkish market hub as well as to have close contact with existing customers and to make new ones”.

For this greenhouse manufacturing company, “although in the recent months the Turkish market has suffered lack of investments, it is still a market that has attractive characteristics for vegetable producers and, therefore, for agricultural equipment suppliers”.

The organization of Growtech expects to bring together more than 850 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and 90,000 visitors from more than 130 countries at the Antalya Expo Center.
