Mastercourse Vegetables follows a successful floricultural edition

15 international horticultural managers finalized their Mastercourse Floriculture 2019 with a visit to the Aalsmeer Trade Fair. The participants to the course were in the Netherlands for two weeks and during numerous visits to knowledge and technology suppliers and producers discussed the future of floriculture and what’s in it for them.

The selected participants came from Brazil (2), Chile, Guatemala, Colombia, Kenya (3), Zambia, Spain, Poland, Denmark, Iran, China and Vietnam and was a reflection of the worldwide floricultural sector, both in terms of geography and product differentiation.

In the Netherlands, partners Koppert Biological Systems, Ridder Growing Solutions, Hortilux Schrèder, Agro Energy, Klasmann-Deilmann, Anthura and Van der Valk Horti Systems received the group.

"The wealth of knowledge these companies have to share and moreover the way they are doing it during this course, makes that you really change your mind about your current practices on the farm and convinces you that change is necessary to improve the future of your company and yourself as a manager", said participant Harry Kruger of Equinox Farms, Kenya.

For the partner companies, the Mastercourse is a different way of communicating with clients and potential clients. It gives them a platform not only to show technology and knowledge, but moreover, to share vision and strategy with the participants, creating a basis for mutual understanding and cooperation on a much broader level.
