Russia: 20 ha complex launched in Chuvashia

The growers of Chuvashia have recently celebrated a professional holiday, the Day of Agricultural and Processing Industry Laborer. Festive celebrations started with the opening of the first phase of a new greenhouse complex in Cheboksary region. The cost of the investment project amounted to 93.5 million euro. The overall acreage of the complex comprised 22 ha, with that the first phase has 11 ha.

The Head of the Republic, Mr. Mikhail Ignatyev as well as the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Ms. Oksana Loug and the Deputy Chairman of the JSC Rosselkhozbank Mr. Aleksey Zhdanov took part in the opening ceremony. “I am sincerely grateful with the federal Minister of the Agriculture, Mr. Dmitry Patrushev who took a responsible decision, with the management of the Rosselkhozbank who opened the credit line and to the administration of the region who took all the risk”, noted the Head of the Republic. He also reminded about the importance of the complex in the improvement of not only economical but also social conditions in the region as the enterprise has provided 460 new working places and created all the conditions for your specialist development.

Ms. Oksana Loug noted that the decision about the construction of a complex with the annual capacity of 20 thousand tons in Chuvashia was a right one. She expressed her confidence that the enterprise produce will take a decent place in the trade chain. The second phase of the complex should be launched in October 2020. Construction works are going in accordance with the plan. Mr. Aleksey Zhdanov assured that the cooperation with the greenhouse complex would continue in the coming year. “It is a perfect example of an ultra contemporary enterprise appearing due to the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and local administration. The second phase should be as successful as the first one,” concluded the representative of JSC Rosselkhozbank.
