It was some serious work to do but the Yangling Agricultural Hi-tech Demonstration Zone is finished - just in time for the opening ceremony of the 26th CAF (China Yangling Agricultural Hi-Tech Fair), that took place here today. The show will last until October 24th. This year, the theme is "New Agriculture, New Countryside and New Farmers.
The event focuses on agricultural science and technology, international agricultural partnerships and exchanges and fighting for poverty alleviation. There are four indoor exhibition halls and four outdoor exhibition areas, with a total exhibition area of 180,000 square meters and 2,350 international standard booths.
In the next days, the Yangling Modern Agriculture Summit will take place here, as will the China (Yangling) Digital Agriculture Conference, the 2019 Yangling International Agri-Science Forum, the third Yangling International Seed Industry Innovation Forum, and there will be releases of several reports on China's agriculture industry.
Demo park
The Yangling Intelligent Agricultural Demo Park is a key place during the event. Sangreen, the company that, with the cooperation of the leading Dutch team, operated as a planner, constructor and investor of the Yangling Intelligent Agricultural Demo-Park, has already been winning a lot of praise at home and abroad for this demo park before it appeared at the CAF.
The Yangling Intelligent Agricultural Demo Park is located in Shanxi Province, covering a total area of 48 hectares and the result of a total investment of 65 million dollars.
The demo park includes one centre and 5 different zones, focusing on intelligent ways of growing, efficiency & automation, industrialization, cold-chain logistics and eco-fertiliser.
By including various kinds of intelligent greenhouses and techniques, the park aims to display the broad angle of techniques being used in China. This includes Dutch greenhouse environment-control systems, Japanese plant factory technologies, seven kinds of China new solar-greenhouses, large-span single tunnel greenhouse and efficient water-saving irrigation technology.
Over the last weeks and focusing on the opening of the CAF in the facility, the team with Sangreen has been doing everything in their power to display the techniques at their best. Thanks to its great and hard teamwork, till now, the core part of the Yangling Intelligent Agricultural Demo Park has already been completed.
