Russia: Biggest grower in Primorsky area went bankrupt

The federal state unitary enterprise Dalnevostochnoe has been declared bankrupt by the arbitrary court of Primorsky area.

The bankruptcy procedure was initiated by the Rosselkhozbank, to which Dalnevostochnoe enterprise owes about 1.4 million Euro. The bankruptcy procedure of the state enterprise began in May 2019. Five months later the bankruptcy commissioner announced that the paying capacity of the enterprise is impossible to restore.

Last year the enterprise bankruptcy claim was issued by the Federal Tax Service as Dalnevostochnoe had not paid over 700 thousand Euro as taxes. The sides have concluded an amicable settlement. The Tax Service have put a lien on the intangible assets of the enterprise: cow barn, canteen, parking space and the greenhouses. The overall acreage of the collateralized property amounted to 43 thousand square meters.

The Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation acts as the founder of the bankrupted enterprise. Dalnevostochnoe used to have the biggest greenhouse complexes in the Primorsky area. They produced various vegetables and greenery as well as milk and dairy products.
