New Zealand: Pepper grower discusses how to solve humidity problems

This year, Frans de Jong of Southern Belle Orchards integrated DryGair dehumidifiers into his pepper greenhouses. Originally from the Netherlands, Frans and his family moved to New Zealand 16 years ago. Him and his wife Tinneke, son Talbert and daughter-in-law Emily work together growing greenhouse peppers and chilis alongside their feijoa orchards. An innovative grower (Frans designed and built his own custom-engineered heating system), he recently installed a 30,000 liter tank to collect the water condensed by his DG-12 dehumidifiers, which is being reused for irrigation. Frans has been seeing great results in his humidity control and energy savings.

You can find the case study on the effects of DryGair dehumidifiers on crop yield here.
