Novelties launched during Cultivate'19

We'll keep you waiting 24 hours more for the complete photo report - but we continue to publish about novelties that have been launched during this year's Cultivate.

The Plant Products booth had a lot of activity and “bounce” as they launched PurKote CRF at Cultivate ’19 this past weekend in Columbus, Ohio. Customers were intrigued by the purple shoes and the sound of basketballs as the show went on.

PurKote is manufactured by Pursell Agri-Tech, located in Sylacauga, Alabama. Pursell has a long history in the fertilizer business. "The addition of PurKote fills a void in the Plant Products portfolio in the US and allows them to bring more solutions to ornamental growers", the team explains.

Josh Gauche and Peter Ollevier with Phormium presented four screens during the Cultivate: PhormiTex Eclipse Dry, PhormiTex Crystal & Phormitex Noctis + Noctis V - or a blackout screen, a transparent energy screen and the woven white opaque screens. More to follow!

The team with T.O. Plastics launched their 72 Star tray with an open bottom, especially designed for plants in need of air pruning.

Tomorrow we'll also show you al the companies not bringing any novelties in the photo report.

Robotics
Advanced Intelligent Systems (AIS), a custom robotics company creating autonomous robotic solutions to solve labor shortage problems in agriculture, announced their partnership with AgriNomix. AIS will work with AgriNomix to create solutions for nurseries and greenhouses faced with labor-intensive tasks, as AIS’s mobile, autonomous robot provides nurseries and growers experiencing acute labor challenges with innovative and cost-efficient automation solutions.

“We are very excited to partner with AgriNomix to provide a solution for nursery and greenhouse growers to make their operations more efficient and productive with BigTop – our unique autonomous robot,” said Afshin Doust, CEO of AIS.

“Our client base is desperate to fill open headcount. They just can’t find people for these labor-intensive job openings. AIS is laser-focused on providing practical, cost-effective robotics that can be put to work in the very near term to fill a gap that will only grow,” said Robert Lando, Founder and President of AgriNomix.

AIS demonstrated BigTop at Cultivate’19.
