The Tomato Seed Extraction Machine (TEM-010) is specifically designed for extracting tomato seeds from small seed lots and serves for increasing productiveness at breeding stations: at the moment, there are already numerous machines operational at breeding stations throughout the world. After thoroughly testing the first editions of this machine last year, Seed Processing Holland received valuable feedback from customers and this input resulted in an upgraded version of the prototype, which is being produced currently.
The TEM-010 includes an advanced beater configuration with integrated nozzles and individual speed control of the upper and lower beaters. The latter ensures that there is no damage to the seed and it minimizes residue formation.
You can test the Tomato Seed Extraction Machine (a.k.a. TEM-010) at the Seed Processing Holland headquarters in Enkhuizen in week 33 and/or 34 of 2019. You can either bring your own product for testing or, alternatively, make use of the tomatoes that are available at the site.
