Offset printer Schwarzach offers steadily growing product range for O & G

"Carton offers high print quality and optimal recyclability"

Offset printer Schwarzach has more than 50 years of experience in the design, printing, finishing and processing of cardboard packaging. Today, the use of packaging made from renewable raw materials, especially in the fruit and vegetable industry, is steadily gaining importance. The traditional company from Vorarlberg has recognized this trend for itself, offering a steadily growing range of sustainable fresh product packaging.

Every application within the fresh sector
At its location in Schwarzach, Vorarlberg, more than 370 employees produce fine cartons and labels for the food, non-food, cosmetics and health care sectors for industrial, commercial and manufacturing companies. A focus of recent years has been the development of a wide variety of trays, cups and trays for the requirements of packaging for fruits and vegetables. "Whether it be stone or berry fruit, vegetables or herbs: we want to offer our customers suitable packaging for every purpose in the fresh food sector," said company spokesman Manfred Faist.

Communication with the end user
It is not just the sustainable base materials, but also the robustness and advertising possibilities of the packaging that are a significant selling point for the product line. Faisst: "These solutions, which are always made from the renewable raw material cardboard, make them attractive as a marketing and communication tool due to their high print quality. Also, the products are particularly light yet stable, environmentally friendly and largely compostable, so that many plastic applications can already be substituted for."
