The implementation of treatments in greenhouses can be difficult, due to narrow aisles and the often limited available maneuvering space. That is why a new compact machine has been launched on the market, allowing its operator to easily make very narrow turns.
One of the most important features of the Tizona 35, developed by the Spanish company Carretillas Amate, is that the front and rear structures are connected by means of a hinge mechanism, and it also features maneuvering control assistance for the traction equipment. The Tizona 35 is equipped with a 18.5 kW diesel engine and a 40 bar 50 liter nozzle.
The machine has a movable traction group to which various accessories can be attached to carry out various tasks along narrow corridors between rows of plants. The Tizona 35 consists of a front structure, with the engine and operating mechanisms, and a rear one which, in addition to a 500-liter tank, features either phytosanitary treatment equipment (consisting of vertical or horizontal pipes or an atomizer) or a rake, depending on the intended use.
