Rofianda launches luminaire in co-operation with Seoul Semiconductors

“Years of research and practical tests have led to a luminaire that meets all the lighting requirements set by greenhouse horticulture," says Ronald Gronsveld. "The luminaire was developed in-house by Rofianda, the LED chip is developed by Seoul Semiconductors in co-operation with Marc Juarez, technical director Europe." The version 2 chip of Seoul is a true sunlight copy LED chip.

Full spectrum
In the luminaire, Seoul led chips are used with a CRI > 97 and a CQS of 97. “With a wavelength of 380nm up till 740nm this fixture is a true sunlight copy”, Ronald explains, “this in combination with the colour of 5600K makes the fixture suitable for general plant growth, greenhouses, cannabis growth, multi-layer, vertical farming etc.”

The fixture
Besides the optimal spectrum this fixture has some other advantages. The fixture isn’t mechanically or water cooled, but by natural convection. It is IK10 (impact resistant) and IP66 (dust- and waterproof). The two bars are each 200W and 180cm in length can be separately controlled, optional, by DALI of 1-10V dimming. The fixtures are easy to install and maintain. With a height of only 7.5 cm and a width of 25 cm the fixture can be used in new and existing grow-systems.

For this launch 100 units are available for testing, at special pricing.
