Yesterday was the first day of the eco-friendly greenhouse grower IPM Mastery course which will last throughout the week until Friday 30th November. The course covers key elements of effective leadership and common pests, including their look, behavior and treatment using live bugs and other explanatory mediums.
As well, there was in depth training on financial consequences of wrong or inadequate treatment and some effective tricks to substantially enhance efficiency and profitability. "It was stated by all attendees that after one day in the program they are fully confident that their training will enable their companies to make $50k in extra annual profit.
The most exciting part in today’s session was the training in the usage of microscopes for all participants. Throughout the quality control afternoon session Crop Defenders Academy allocated one microscope for each participant with close, on-the-job training.
To add more excitement and refresh participants’ bodies and minds, Jenifer Johns – a well known local personal trainer - led trainees to perform challenging yet fun exercises.
