Theo Kleijweg, TK-Topboiler, happy with spontaneous discovery:

"The youth has the future"

You just got lucky. You walk through the World Horti Center and bump into your new job. And perhaps your own future business. That happened to Tom van Reeven. Tom spoke to Theo Kleijweg of TK-Topboiler. Theo saw in Tom a future for his company. And that’s what happened. Tom is now accompanying Theo. In order to introduce him to the international world of boilers, Tom went along with Theo this year to the Canadian Greenhouse Conference. Theo: "It clicked. Which is good. It is now in the line with expectations that Tom will succeed Theo. But that is still some time away. There is still a way to go. We first are going to work very closely together."

Tom is excited: "This suits me. My parents had a horticultural company and I am technically skilled. I'm excited. It feels good." Tom's focus will mainly be on foreign countries. Especially China has his interest. TK-Topboiler is one of the few boiler producers to have a China license.

Before this happens, Theo will introduce him to the horticulture sector and to the product. This means, among other things, that he will join HKB. HKB is the factory in Venlo where the boilers are being built. HKB is part of the Viessmann group. In Venlo Tom will learn the technical ins and outs of the 'boiler profession'.
