Archaeological study required for new Swedish greenhouse

Building a new greenhouse can sometimes also open up a window into the past. A Swedish tomato grower who wants to expand their business first has to await an archeological study, as the site borders two prehistoric construction sites in the Swedish town of Elleholm. The local government wants archaeological research to be carried out before granting approval for the expansion plans of Elleholms Tomatodling.

The expansion plans of Elleholm Tomatodling are now under assessment by various authorities. The local government indicated in a report that it's in favor of the new building plans. However, there are reservations about the potential importance of the heritage site, so the condition is that it will not be harmed by the construction.
