China: Advanced digital phenotyping system for Nanjing Agricultural University

PhenoKey just completed the turnkey delivery of an advanced digital phenotyping system for Nanjing Agricultural University in China. This 600 pots system with advanced RGB and Kinetic Chlorophyll Fluorescence/ Multi spectral imaging units, is installed inside a greenhouse situated prominently at the entrance of the University main campus. The system will enable the University to conduct automated plant phenotyping experiments for multiple applications.

After handover the client directly loaded the system to start the first experiment.

Equally impressive as the state-of-the-art technology, is the collaboration between all involved specialists. After meticulous preparations, all on-site activities were executed in under 3 weeks of highly orchestrated and synchronized activities, with system acceptance as a result.

PhenoKey’s project manager Ronald Schulte has played a crucial role in leading and synchronizing this process. Aris bv, Flier Systems, Indigo Logistics, and PhenoVation B.V. contributed to the project.
