The application Pesticide Selection Tools (PST) is now available online on the official website of the Dutch Vegetable Sector Support Myanmar, aiming to better inform and support the farmers and sector professionals.
The Dutch Vegetable Sector Support Myanmar works closely with the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, Department of Agriculture, teachers from State Agriculture Institutes and advisors from NGOs. Their activities focus on the related projects and capacity building programs such as VegCap and VegImpact including the subject on pest, disease management and responsible use of chemicals. Sector experts from Wageningen University and Research and some leading horticultural companies are largely involved in this sector support group.
