#MOKUMATO campaign kicks off for the fourth consecutive year

SUNSET® reaches $80,000 in donations to Movember Foundation

For the fourth consecutive year SUNSET® has partnered with the Movember Foundation to raise funds and awareness about men’s health. This year’s $20,000 donation brings the total amount raised by SUNSET® for the Movember Foundation to $80,000.

“In 2014, our Kumato® tomato was named one of the healthiest foods for men by Men’s Health magazine which inspired us to partner with the Movember Foundation and support their vision to have an everlasting impact on men’s health,” CEO Paul Mastronardi explained. “With our #MOKUMATO campaign, we’re giving consumers a platform to salute the fathers, brothers, friends and partners who inspire them. It’s a fun campaign to inspire men to get serious about important men’s health issues.”

Throughout the month of November, social media users are invited to share photos on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram of men who inspire them with #MoKumato and #Movember. Additionally, SUNSET® Kumato® tomato limited edition packages will have peel-off moustache shaped labels that promote the Movember Foundation. Consumers are encouraged to pose for a selfie with the moustache and post the photo with the same hash tags. No purchase is necessary and alternative methods of entry are posted at sunsetgrown.com/movember. Every Friday during the month of November, SUNSET will randomly select one of the contestants and reward a prize pack valued at over $200.

In addition to viewing an inspiring and heartwarming gallery of user generated photos, visitors to sunsetgrown.com/movember can view infographics about men’s health, view the progress of SUNSET’s mo’-growers, and donate to the company’s Movember Foundation fundraising team.
