The objective of this workshop was to provide a space for discussion between farmers, extension advisors and representatives of governmental institutions in order to identify common barriers and possible actions to improve organic certification systems in vegetable production. Emphasis was put on organic certification through the Participatory Guarantee System (PGS). Around 50 Chilean stakeholders participated in the activity.

An article about the workshop was published on the website of the Agronomy School, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (in Spanish).
