US: Organic crop protection product treats wide range of pests

Eco-1 Garden Spray is now available in an all new 2 ½ gallon size, in addition to a 32 fl. oz. ready-to-use, and a 32 fl. oz. and an 8 fl. oz. concentrate. According to Kristin Nikodemski, Horticulture Marketing Manager at Arborjet, “Eco-1 Garden Spray is an excellent solution for treating a wide range of insects and diseases such as, mildew and mold, especially during times of extreme heat and humidity. It offers an ideal solution and provides a perfect foundation for growers and anyone interested in keeping their garden, soil, lawn and shrubs healthy and thriving.”

Eco-1 Garden Spray is an organic, non-toxic, botanical blend of thyme and peppermint oils with linseed oil, creating a unique emulsion that offers up to 15 times more active ingredients for highly effective control. Other unique ingredients help the oils mix with water and dissolve an insect’s exoskeleton for additional pest fighting power. Formulated with EPA Minimum Risk active ingredients allowed for use on food crops, Eco-1 Garden Spray is non-toxic to people and pets, and is ideal for organic growing, even on edibles that will be harvested the same day. It is also vegan-friendly with no animal byproducts.

Eco-1 Garden Spray can be used against diseases and pests without risk of leaf scorching. It is effective against a wide range of soft-bodied insects and mites, such as aphids, mealybugs, psyllids, scales, thrips, two-spotted spider mites and whiteflies. The formulation also prevents and controls various fungal diseases such as powdery mildew, black spot, early and late blight, scab, gray mold, rust, brown rots and leaf spot. As linseed oil is lighter than traditional oils used in gardening products, Eco-1 Garden Spray can be used to prevent these pests and diseases.
