"Making Dutch strawberries as competitive as possible"

The Greenery and Luminaid are conducting research into sweet autumn and winter strawberries. One of the most important parameters for this research is light, and the Greenery has asked Luminaid to provide the lighting. The test is being carried out at Botany in Meterik in Limburg, where The Greenery has a greenhouse at its disposal.

Researcher Klaas de Jager explains why he chose Luminaid. "The lighting solution has proven itself in a production environment both technically and commercially. The objective is to have a cultivation plan where investment and operational costs are kept as low as possible in order to increase the competitive position of the Dutch strawberry."

Strawberry growers, who are affiliated with The Greenery and CLTV-Hoogstraten, have already opted for this solution from Luminaid for illuminated winter cultivation.
