Four Spanish companies have united themselves in the growth, promotion and marketing of the Adora tomato, a tomato bred by HM. Clause. Entering the market together might be quite a challenge, they agree. "It's ambitious - but we believe in it because the Adora offers a quality demanded by consumer. The tomato offers an authentic flavor."
On October 5, the four companies materialized their union with the founding of the Verdita association; an alliance committed to the consolidation and promotion of Adora® tomatoes in the European market. "The Adora® brand has already gained a reputation in Europe for its high quality and great taste, as it was awarded with the silver medal at Fruit Logistica 2018, in Berlin", they explain.
Now this alliance seeks to carry out an optimal planning of the tomato's marketing, with food safety and quality controls in place. "Our united know-how, experience and leadership will pave the way for Adora® tomatoes into the market."
"This tomato is surprising from the very first moment", is how the Adora is described. "The Adora is a brown ribbed tomato, endowed with stable organoleptic characteristics throughout the year. It has a unique color, a fleshy and firm texture, and a powerful flavor and aromas that remind us of the traditional and authentic tomato. These qualities meet the needs of the most demanding consumers, who are looking for a product with great nutritional properties that also provides a unique sensoryl experience," say its marketers.
Verdita brings together the resources and experience of these large export companies. Unica, Biosabor, CASI and Cooperativa La Palma, in partnership with HM. CLAUSE, are responsible for the quality, production and communication processes. In order to guarantee greater efficiency, fundamental business criteria such as traceability, quality or marketing are unified.
