The Biobest Group management team has reached full strength with Erik Vanderhaegen recently appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO), following the earlier appointment of Kristof Truyens to head up the HR team.
Erik was previously CFO and a member of the Executive Board of several multinationals in various sectors, including fruit and vegetables. He will play a crucial contribution keeping Biobest on track to achieving its goals: evolving into the most trusted partner in the field of pollination and biological pest control for growers striving in the sustainable production of high-quality horticultural crops.
Biobest CEO, Jean-Marc Vandoorne, is delighted to welcome Erik to the team. “He boasts extremely impressive credentials. One of his greatest challenges in our growing organisation will be the further development of our financial structure and administrative support. Our group turnover has tripled since the arrival of previous CFO, Nele Linclau, in 2010. Erik will continue to build on a structure that supports our ambitious growth plans.”
Erik Vanderhaegen: “Biobest has performed superbly in recent years. Rapid sales growth has gone hand in hand with a rise in profitability. It’s an absolute pleasure working in a company with such a healthy financial structure and proven capacity for exponential growth. I look forward to further building on a financial environment that will facilitate Biobest’s growth for many years to come.”
