Fresh processor introduces retail packaging featuring TV show branding for preschoolers

North American fresh-cut fruit and vegetable network Your Way*Fresh is teaming up with Entertainment One’s children’s television series PJ Masks in an effort to encourage kids to eat wholesome fruits. The two companies aim to encourage healthy lifestyles among children across the country by incorporating different characters into fresh food programs.

According to the company, PJ Masks is now a widely-watched animated program on Disney Junior. The show's plot involves three 6-year-olds, who go to school like kids everywhere by day and transform into superheroes by night.

Your Way*Fresh will offer PJ Masks branded combinations in clamshells, bags and packages of fresh-cut fruit and vegetables. The company said in this way, they can help parents introduce healthy habits to their children with a little help from their favorite heroic trio.

“We believe that introducing children to fruits and vegetables at an early age is a great way to help instill in them healthy habits for life,” said Your Way*Fresh CEO Jim Padden. “Our partnership with eOne’s PJ Masks allows us to introduce products to children through characters that are familiar to them.”
