From 4-6 December 2018 Fresh Business Expo Ukraine will kick off its 7th edition, the exhibition will once again take place at the International Exhibition Centre (IEC) in Kiev.

The exhibition has been organized since 2011 and given the high number of returning participants it has proven to be an effective and targeted tool for companies to strengthen and expand their network in Ukraine and CIS countries, the organization states.

Fresh Business Expo is unique as it is the only trade event in Ukraine that exclusively targets the complete chain of Fresh Produce. No other exhibition in Ukraine exclusively services the fresh produce industry as the Fresh Business Expo does.

During the previous edition the exhibition welcomed 3,744 trade visitors and 115 companies from 10 countries worldwide, participated in the event occupying some 2,500 m2.

One of the key success factors of the exhibition is the conference “Fruits & Vegetables of Ukraine”, which is organized by Fruit Inform within the framework of the exhibition.

The 3-day conference and exhibition attract leading growers, traders, key supermarket buyers, importers, exporters, processors as well as input and equipment suppliers.

The first two days of the conference focus on all aspects of the Fresh Produce Industry such as market information, trends & forecasts and technical information about the production of fruits & vegetables.

The third day of the conference is dedicated to the successful trade forum in which supermarket chains, importers, growers and exporters participate.

Both events offer participants and visitors the best networking opportunities available.

Exports from Ukraine to the EU are increasing rapidly and the production of fruits & vegetables is showing significant growth.

Ukraine’s fruit and vegetable producers believe that they can become world leaders in production and processing. The reason for their optimism lies in the sheer size of the nation’s productive capacity. Ukraine’s output levels make it the fifth largest fruit, vegetable, and berry-producing nation in Europe.

In order to expand exports to the EU the Ukrainian growers will need to invest in order to meet European quality standards. This offers great potential to Western suppliers of Greenhouse Technology, Post Harvest Handling, Packaging, Seeds & Plants and other related products.
