Canada: Pranger acquires Hydronov
Pranger Enterprises has acquired Canadian hydroponics designer and builder, Hydronov.
Pranger Enterprises is an Indiana-based consultant and construction manager specializing in the development of commercial recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) projects in the U.S. Pranger works with project owners and investors to explore the feasibility of their aquaculture or aquaponics project, and to coordinate the project’s site, scope, budget, design and construction.
Pranger has managed the development and construction of several high-tech RAS facilities, including the largest indoor RAS facility and the first commercial RAS salmon farm in the U.S., as well as collaborated on two of the largest commercial aquaponics facilities in the world.
“Hydronov is a perfect fit for us as we continue to grow our aquaponics services,” Nick Pranger, CEO of Pranger Enterprises, said. “Pranger specializes in aquaculture and Hydronov is a world leader in hydroponics. Our specialties are a perfect complement to each other.”
Luc Desrochers, founder of Hydronov said, “Bringing Hydronov into the Pranger Enterprises family combines our hydroponics design and build experience with the project and construction management expertise Pranger Enterprises is known for.”
