“No longer waiting on Excel files”

After a short trial period on several locations, Agro Care now uses the LetsGrow.com platform at all their national and international locations. The reason for Agro Care to start working with LetsGrow.com, is that all the relevant data is automatically collected at one central place. "By collecting data automatically, data is collected in a consistent way and everyone in the company works with the same data", according to two growers from Agro Care, Alida Kuiper and Barry Ammeraal.

Alida: "There are growers who were sceptical about adding their crop registration with the application, but now they are using it and they give feedback and suggestions."

Alida Kuiper is the administrator for the LetsGrow.com accounts. She makes the desired graphs and overviews at one central place. Alida ensures that all the growers have their desired graphs and overviews at their own account. The overview consists of key figures, which growers can use to regulate the greenhouse climate and plant growth. Because everyone uses the same information, all growers can discuss with up-to-date data about the cultivation and ways to optimise it. Alida has also made notifications in consultation with the growers. Per location, every morning, notifications are sent with overviews and graphs to the growers. In this way, all relevant growing information of each day is visible at a single glance. Besides that, Alida sets per cultivation the target values regarding fruit set, plant fruit load and a growth factor in the LetsGrow.com system. In this way, it is possible to compare during the cultivation period the realised values with the target values.

Barry: "In this way, every grower can monitor continuously whether the developments of the plants are according to the plan."

Besides the automatized registrations, as water- and climate data, some data is entered manually at Agro Care. Therefore LetsGrow.com developed an application, that can be used on a tablet or mobile phone. Now they are working with the program for a couple of months, the app is used a lot. Alida: "there are growers who were sceptical about adding their crop registration with the application, but now they are using it and they give feedback and suggestions. Alida and Barry are both positive about the application. Barry indicates: ”With the application it takes less time to enter the crop registrations, when I'm in the greenhouse, I can enter the data directly via the app on my mobile Phone.”
