Spain: Warehouse and several greenhouses in Almeria caught fire

An agricultural warehouse and a nearby group of greenhouses in an area located between Retamar and Cabo de Gata caught fire and twelve firefighters from Almeria had to come to the area to extinguish it; a task that was completed at 22:30 on Monday.

As pointed out to Europa Press by sources of the unified emergency service 112, the first warning calls were received shortly before 18:00. According to the indications given, the fire started at an agricultural warehouse full of plastic containers and pallets, located on kilometre 3 of AL-3115, for reasons that are still unknown.
