New biorational solutions event created for Mexican agriculture

Meister Media Worldwide, a multimedia publishing company based in Willoughby, Ohio, United States, has added Biocontroles Mexico to its biocontrol event series. Organized by the Mexican Horticulture Group of the company, Biocontroles Mexico is an event exclusively dedicated to the use and application of biocontrol solutions and biostimulants in the production of high value, fresh fruit and vegetables.

The event will take place this 14 and 15 of September, 2017 in Hilton Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. It’s opening event will be the first ever Mexican Biocontrol Industry Summit, which will take place on the 13th of September. The Summit will gather green ag solution providers in one space, with the objective of understanding the potential of the industry within the country of Mexico. The summit is of particular interest to industry leaders interested in introducing new biorational solutions into the Mexican market, but need to know how to do so according to the country’s policies and regulations.



After the summit, registration will open to any grower, consultant, expert and input provider interested in attending Biocontroles Mexico. The event will focus in low to zero residue solutions for common problems in the production of high value fruits and vegetable productions, such as tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, grapes and berries.
Some of the topics to be presented are:
  • The application of marine algae, protein hydrolysates and the management of molecular markers for the purpose of biostimulating crops
  • Pest and disease control with extracts, vegetable oils and Bacillus thuringiensis
  • The use of beneficial microorganisms and stress management in crops
  • Entomopathogenic solutions and applications in agriculture
