Vijverberg Advies is known for its consultancy work in Dutch greenhouse horticulture. They operate at a technical level together with growers and investors. Hebatrade has been the international division for years. "We guide the process until completion," Huib says. "We do this on the domestic market and abroad, in projects ranging from large to small."
The companies activities range from new construction projects to testing, which gives companies more insight and knowledge. Lighting trials and multi-layered cultivation trajectories, but also looking for grant opportunities. "The most important is our role as an independent adviser," Huib explains. "We do not have an interest in a particular solution other than the best possible one. Internationally there is a lot of supply and knowledge available and the interests of advisory services are diverse. For us that does not matter. We seek the right knowledge and insights and guide projects independently."
For this purpose, their 8 employees are not only meeting with growers and suppliers, but also with government agencies. According to Huib it all about linking insights instead of just looking at the rules. With this approach, the companies have acquired a diverse customer base and range of assignments. Growers, researchers, big and small companies and even municipalities and government agencies. Now it's time for a change.
