In Dagestan, four projects are implemented with the participation of Azerbaijani investors, the head of the Dagestan agency for entrepreneurship and investment Bashir Magomedov says.
"We have four major projects with the participation of Azerbaijani investors and have already signed an agreement."
Magomedov noted that one of the projects worth approx. 2 billion rubles (31 million USD) initiated by the "Yugagroholding" JSC, envisages the construction of a large greenhouse complex. At present, the first phase of construction of 5.5 hectares of greenhouses is nearing completion.
The large greenhouse complex should be in operation by the end of 2016. Besides, the complex will consist of several facilities for the production of steel structures and sandwich panels.
"'Urozhay' and Azerbaijani company have signed an agreement to build a greenhouse complex worth 300 million rubles," Magomedov commented.
The head of the Dagestan agency for entrepreneurship and investment also mentioned the decision of the Azerbaijani investors to support construction of another greenhouse complex, and a plant for the production of steel structures for greenhouses in the coming years.
