A bold new gardening trade show created with the modern grower in mind will soon take root in San Jose.
Maximum Yield Inc., a 15-year veteran of hosting indoor grow shows, under the new ownership of Chrysalis Acquisition Partners Inc., a private investment firm based in Calgary, is pleased to introduce GROWX, its next generation of trade show.
“We are extremely excited to announce that San Jose will be the host for our inaugural GROWX event,” said Glenn Huber, President of Chrysalis and Chairman of Maximum Yield Inc. “San Jose combines the perfect blend as a high-tech community with a strong urban gardening movement. Our Maximum Yield team created GROWX with the intent of connecting a diverse modern growing community that includes the latest gardening technology industry players as well as grass roots organizations.”
GrowX will make its debut June 3-4, 2017, at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center.
David Waslen, Chrysalis’s Managing Partner and Maximum Yield’s President, says GROWX was developed to create maximum opportunity for growers, industry leaders, and front line retail operators to connect and build their business.
“GROWX will feature education, business, and networking components all developed to bring together experts, industry insiders, and end users,” said Waslen. “Our new format will allow for a fun, vibrant and productive atmosphere while attendees will get the freshest look at the latest technology, products, and techniques.”
Along with the exhibition, GROWX will also feature a speaker series, exciting sponsorship opportunities, an active social media component, and a variety of
features to ensure a successful event for exhibitors and attendees.
For the first time, as acceptance grows in many states and jurisdictions, a medicinal cannabis component will be featured at GROWX. Seminars on insurance and financing, along with other business related information sessions will be offered alongside the latest in cannabis products and technology.
A second GROWX is scheduled to take place in Detroit September 30-October 1, 2017.
